Green Fingers!

Here at Treetops a group of clients have been taking part in a gardening group every Tuesday. The Group have done fantastic at learning all the gardening skills needed. The group can now identify the different gardening tools needed and the different vegetables we have planted. We have planted lots of different vegetables over the past 3 months. We have managed to harvest Garden Peas, Lettuce, Carrots, Spring Onions, Potatoes and Coriander. Our new activity programme is due to start on the 1st August 2022 so we will now have a new gardening group taking place on a Wednesday where we will be starting to plant vegetables that can be harvested throughout the winter months. We will be attempting to grow different flowers and pumpkins, brussels sprouts, butternut squash and many others. We will also be incorporating carpentry into the gardening group by making an allotment out of wood pallets. We will also be making solar lighthouses out of cones and solar water features.
